Qualifications: Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Bachelor of Commerce, NTAA Member, Justice of the Peace NSW (JP).
Experience: Worked in Commercial roles until 1995 then moved to Accounting & Tax Practice in 1998. Member of CPA since 2004. Been at the current firm since 2002 and became a partner in 2012. Wide exposure to various industries.
What made you get into the Accounting industry?: Loved Maths at school, loved problem solving and helping people.
What do you think makes Higgins Tonna & Co such a great firm to be a part of? Working with a variety of industries, challenging but rewarding.
Strong client relationships, dealing with some clients for over 20+ years.

KATH KENDALL
BOOKKEEPING / PAYROLL

Qualifications: Diploma in Accounting, Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management), Advanced MYOB & Payroll.
Experience: Working as a bookkeeper and processing payroll since 2009, previously managing retail, sales and hospitality.
What made you get into the Accounting industry?: Children, Balancing a family and work can be a challenge, and Bookkeeping allowed me flexibility to look after my children and still pursue a career for myself.
What do you think makes Higgins Tonna & Co such a great firm to be a part of?: The boss is amazing, Belinda allows me the flexibility I need to still look after my family. The team are great to work and have a laugh with.

Qualifications: No Qualifications in accounting however currently completing a Cert III in Business and hold a Cert III in Retail.
Experience: McDonald’s Assistant Restaurant Manager for 2 Years after working there for 5 years.
What made you get into the Accounting industry?: Enjoyed learning and wanted a change of career so threw myself into something completely new.
What do you think makes Higgins Tonna & Co such a great firm to be a part of?: The way the team treats clients, new or existing, as if they have known each other for years the sense of community is amazing and I’m glad to be part of such a great team.
